The CV and the Application

One page, built for somebody entering security without a security job history. Six adverts read line by line, the artefact put where a job history would go, the write-up marked, and the funnel tracked honestly — including what sixty rejections do and do not tell you.

The CV and the Application

บทสรุป

C1 ends with a plan and a chosen artefact. Then you have to apply for something, and that is where most career changers stop. This segment produces one page. Not general CV advice — every lesson is specific to somebody with no security job history, and if a paragraph would work for a marketing role it has been deleted. You read six adverts for one role and sort every line into a gate, a worry or decoration. You build a keyword sheet from the employers' own words rather than a list somebody sold you. You put the thing you built in the position a job would occupy, with the failure bullet that makes the other three believable. You mark your write-up against the six checks a reader applies in four minutes. Then you track the funnel on eleven columns and let the sheet, rather than your mood at eleven at night, decide what you change. Two positions run through it. An advert is a list of worries and a CV is a list of answers, which is why the answers get written before the document does. And nothing here is promised: nobody can tell you that a document plus persistence produces a job, so the last lesson gives you the arithmetic, the three rejections that carry information, and a stopping point you choose while you are calm.

  1. 01 Reading the Advert Properly
    3 บทเรียน·1h 54m

You counted requirements across six adverts in C1 2.3 and it told you which role to aim at. This module is not that. Here you read a single line and work out what the employer is afraid of, because…

  2. 02 The Document
    3 บทเรียน·1h 41m

The deliverable of this module is a page, and the page is built in three pieces across three lessons. Do not skip to the end and assemble it from a template — the section order is the argument, and a…

  3. 03 The Write-Up and the Application
    3 บทเรียน·2h

Everything in this module is timed on purpose. Four minutes of reading, twenty minutes of tailoring, four minutes to write a covering note. The timings are not a gimmick — an application process that…

  4. 04 The Funnel
    3 บทเรียน·1h 26m

This module is the instrument, not the encouragement. The sheet exists so that decisions about what to change are made by rows rather than by how Sunday night feels, and the last lesson makes no…

Am I Too Late? — The Honest Map Into Cyber
Beginner Am I Too Late? — The Honest Map Into Cyber The four questions people actually ask before they book: is forty too late, do I need to code, what do I need before I start, and which certificate. Answered plainly, with a role map, real first-year pay, and a written plan you leave with.
The Kid Who Wants To Hack
Intermediate The Kid Who Wants To Hack You want to know how attacks work. Fine. This segment teaches you to see them — in a domain record, in a DNS lookup, in a log file — and to build a tool that scores a link before anyone clicks it. Nothing here teaches you to attack anything, and by the end you will understand why that is the expensive skill.
SOC Tier 1 — the job, done from the ticket in
Intermediate SOC Tier 1 — the job, done from the ticket in Six tickets, handed to you cold, in the order and the format a real shift hands them over. You decide what matters first and then defend the decision. Analysis and defence only — nothing here teaches you to attack anything.
Career Changer's Lab — build the machine you'll learn on
Beginner Career Changer's Lab — build the machine you'll learn on Build the machine you are going to learn on, from a laptop that currently has nothing on it. A hypervisor, a Kali virtual machine, snapshots, Linux from the ground up, and a written procedure for rebuilding all of it from nothing. Lab construction and fundamentals only — nothing here teaches you to attack anything.
What a Family Should Actually Lock Down
Beginner What a Family Should Actually Lock Down Your child's accounts are not the attack surface of your household. Yours are. Four sessions at the kitchen table that produce one written record: which accounts exist, which one recovers all the others, who actually has access to what, and what to do first on a bad day. No software to install, nothing technical to know, and not one password written down anywhere.
Microsoft SC-200 — The Analyst's Exam, From the Log Up
Intermediate Microsoft SC-200 — The Analyst's Exam, From the Log Up The SOC analyst's certification, taught from the log up: the query language from nothing on data shaped like real tickets, what a detection rule, incident and entity are made of, and the four scenario shapes the exam keeps reusing — with every query actually run and every error real. An independent course, not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
